Homily given at the 11:00 am Mass on Sunday, April 14, 2019, Palm (Passion) Sunday, by Dcn. Dan Foley, Christ the King Catholic Church.

Reflecting on the Gospel before the Palm Sunday procession, Dcn. Dan invites us to put ourselves into the scene, joining in the anticipation that the true Messiah has come. However, when the longed-for overthrow of the Romans doesn't materialize, do we, too, turn away from Jesus? What do we do when God's plan in our lives doesn't turn out the way that we think it should?
