Homily given at the 11:00 a.m. Mass on January 28, 2018, the Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time, by Fr. Bill Spencer, retired priest of the Diocese of Saginaw, Michigan, and Priest-in-Residence at Christ the King. Fr. Bill reflects on the Gospel for the day, Mark 1:21-28.  Mark in his Gospel emphasized two aspects of Jesus' ministry, teaching and healing, both of which were done under His own power and authority. It's important for us to recognize the power and authority of Jesus.
