Homily given at the 8:45 a.m. Mass on Sunday, July 1, 2012, the Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, by Dcn. Andrew Brinkman, transitional deacon of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Dcn. Andrew speaks of how the woman who touched Jesus' clothes and was healed not only had faith, but she was aware of her need, which moved her to touch Him. Dcn. Andrew encourages us to be like her, reaching out to Jesus in our brokenness, our need, our shame, for if we touch Him, He will heal us.
