May 13, 2014

Homily given at the 11:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, May 11, 2014, the 4th Sunday of Easter (also the World Day of Prayer for Vocations and Mother's Day), by Fr. Ed Fride, Pastor, Christ the King Catholic Church. After taking a few minutes to honor our mothers and the gift of motherhood, Fr. Ed reminds us that "Heaven is for real," and the Good Shepherd wants to get us there. The Good Shepherd needs men to accept the gift of priesthood, so that Heaven can be proclaimed and the people can receive the Eucharist.

Key words: Eucharist, conversion, Holy Spirit
