Homily given at the 11:00 am Mass on Sunday, May 19, 2019, the 5th Sunday of Easter, by Dcn. Dan Foley, Christ the King Catholic Church.

Dcn. Dan reflects on the need to have both truth and love in order for people to come to accept the Lordship of Jesus and for His followers to grow in holiness. In today's Gospel, Jesus tells us that others will know we are His disciples by our love for one another.

Dcn. Dan then announced that Christ the King is beginning Stephen Ministry in the parish as a way to help us better love one another. The Christ the King Stephen Leaders were introduced and commissioned to lead Stephen Ministry at Christ the King.
