Homily given at the 7:30 p.m. Mass on Monday, November 5, 2012, by Fr. Ed Fride, Pastor, Christ the King Catholic Church. At this special Mass celebrated on the eve of the election, Fr. Ed reminds us that there have been many times throughout history when the people of God have been in great difficulties, but Jesus is more powerful. If we turn to Him and do things His way, we will see a greater and greater release of the power of His Holy Spirit to do His will, to trust Him, to be courageous, to give joy and hope to others, and to hold fast to the truth, especially the truth about Who Jesus Himself is.
Key words: voting, God's will,
