Nov 6, 2013

Homily given at the 4:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday, November 2, 2013, the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls Day), by Dcn. Larry Randolph, Christ the King Catholic Church. God is a God of justice and mercy. He gives us hope as we celebrate All Saints Day on November 1. He shows us mercy on All Souls Day, while at the same time showing us that all sin, even the least, is a great offense to God. In His mercy, He provides Purgatory; justice and mercy give us the proper understanding of Purgatory.

Key words: saints, sin, Purgatory, love, hope, trust, thankfulness
