The fifth talk in the Walking in the Spiritual Gifts class, given by Fr. Ed Fride, pastor of Christ the King Catholic Church. This talk was given on Friday, March 28, 2014, at Christ the King Catholic Church as part of the Upper Room Ministry.

This course is designed to inspire and equip participants to walk in the supernatural charisms as a way of life, especially to evangelize and to build up the body of Christ. It expands on last year’s Advanced Charisms Course.

Fr. Ed speaks about the charismatic word gifts (interpretation, word of wisdom, word of knowledge, discernment, prophecy), especially in relation to evangelism.

In the second in a series of talks on Matrimony, Marriage and Homosexuality Brad Schmidt talked about the current state of marriage in our culture.  He made a case for marriage being a natural institution (not strictly religious or legal, but built into human nature), the attack being waged on marriage and family from the world, the flesh, and especially the devil, and how we as Christians can respond.
