Nov 30, 2017

Homily given at the 11:00 am Mass on Sunday, November 19, 2017, the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time, by Dcn. Dan Foley, Christ the King Catholic Church. The parable of the talents in today's Gospel shows us that spiritual greatness is not dependent on being able to do great and mighty works. Blessed Solanus Casey, who was beatified in Detroit on November 18, gives us a powerful local example of what someone who is faithful in small things can accomplish.
