Homily given at the 8:45 a.m. Mass on Sunday, July 29, 2012, the Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, by Dcn. Greg VandeVoorde, Christ the King Catholic Church. The Gospel of John leads us to Jesus in the Eucharist. Jesus, the Good Shepherd, feeds His people with Himself, and we share in the divine nature. May we always have the joy and excitement of little children at their First Communions each time we receive Jesus. Then let us go out and share the super-abundance of His divine grace with others.
