God is a God of justice and mercy. He gives us hope as we celebrate All Saints Day on November 1. He shows us mercy on All Souls Day, while at the same time showing us that all sin, even the least, is a great offense to God. In His mercy, He provides Purgatory; justice and mercy give us the proper understanding of Purgatory.

The lives of the saints, both here on earth and in Heaven, were filled with the love, joy and peace of the Holy Spirit because they pursued Jesus with all their hearts.
