October 13, 2013 was our first "Issue Night" of the year. Issue nights take a break from our semester curriculum to address a topic that is pressing in the lives of the teens. This night focused on the basics of the dignity of the human person, particularly in how we relate to one another. This talk was given by Mary Zahm, Bethany Bonenfant and Melisa Carnacchi. Following the talk, the teens broke into their small groups to explore the dignity of the human person in Sacred Scripture and discuss how it applies to their lives right now. |

October 6, 2013 was the third Life Night in a series on the Church for the high school students at Christ the King (The first two nights - the Nature of the Church and the Mission of the Church were not recorded). The Hierarchy of the Church, instituted by Christ as well as the vocation of the laity were explored in depth, both through this teaching and small-group Bible study. |
