We celebrate today the historical event of Mary's conception free from the stain of original sin. We can turn to the Lady to assist us by her prayer and example, so that we can all grow in holiness.

This great feast was instituted to make it clear that there is only one king, our Lord Jesus Christ. It provides us with a wonderful opportunity to respond to His invitation to surrender our lives to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
