Homily given at the 11:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, April 19, the 3rd Sunday of Easter, by Fr. Ed Fride, Pastor, Christ the King Catholic Church. The Easter season is a time for rejoicing and preparing for the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Fr. Ed encourages us to re-read the Acts of the Apostles during this season. Then, if there are spiritual gifts described there that we haven't experienced, make a "Pentecost shopping list" of gifts to ask the Lord to give you this Pentecost.

Key words: joy, spiritual gifts, charisms, Holy Spirit
