Homily given at Mass on May 17, 2020, the Sixth Sunday of Easter, by Fr. Ed Fride, Pastor, Christ the King Catholic Church. This Mass was during the COVID-19 pandemic when no congregation was able to be present. The Mass was livestreamed on Christ the King's YouTube channel; you may watch it by clicking here.

Fr. Ed reminds us that we can find love and joy and peace, even in the midst of the current difficult circumstances, because Jesus rose. As Corrie Ten Boom, a survivor of the Nazi death camps, would say, "There is no pit so deep that God's love is not deeper still." We can do this only through the power of the Holy Spirit in our hearts.
