Homily given at the 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, September 9, 2018, the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time, by Dcn. Mark Neugebauer, recently ordained Permanent Deacon of the Archdiocese of Toronto, Canada.

Dcn. Mark notes that the main point of today's readings is how we are to deal with the suffering, the needy, and everyone we meet. He reflects on the attitude of mercy, compassion, and support that we are called to extend to the least among us, for what we do to them, we do to Jesus Himself.
