First talk given at the Christ the King 2014 Women's Retreat by Fr. Ben Luedtke. The theme of the retreat was "The Joy of the Cross."

Fr. Ben was ordained by Pope Saint John Paul the Great in Rome and has worked as a missionary priest on three continents. He personally knew Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta and was often her personal driver in Rome. Each Missionary of Charity prays for a special priest; Fr. Ben was Mother Teresa's special priest. He currently resides at St. Albert the Great Parish in Dearborn Heights. Fr. Ben is a very sought-after speaker, spiritual director and confessor.
